lookalike from Ghana. We start from less striking to the most striking
resemblance.
At
number 10 is Edem

Ghanaian Hip
hop, Reggae and Dance Hall artiste Edem has been drawn several times in a
resemblance match with DR Congo’s’ footballer Dieumerci Mbokani. One blogger in
Ghana reported that the duo could pass for the most identical twins ever seen.
That however is his personal opinion.

number 9 is Kidi

Ghanaian highlife, afrobeats singer and songwriter
Dennis Nana Dwamena, better known as KiDi, was recently captured in a photo
with his closest lookalike yet. His lookalike is a Ghanaian underground artiste
Khing Steve. According to reports, Khing sees Kidi as his mentor
The guy we are told is also an artiste who really
admires KiDi and even work tenaciously towards making an occasion for a photo
shoot between the two possible.
At number 8 is Late Ebony Reigns

Late Ghanaian dancehall and
Afrobeats artiste Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng known
by her stage name Ebony Reigns,
who passed on in 2018 after dropping series of hit singles including "Poison" and
"Kupe". Seem to have faces by which she would still be remembered. Although
there are many faces that look like that of Ebony, like Holus Achkwerh, and
Maggi spotted during Ebony’s funeral, but one lady who has managed to hold on
to the Ebony lookalike syndrome is underground artiste called Akua Kyeremanteng. She is believed
to have had the opportunity to meet Ebony Reigns before she died.
Besides her resemblance with Ebony Reigns, another thing
that brings her attention is her coca cola bottle shape which is so captivating
that photos of her went viral across social media platforms in Ghana and even
beyond.
At number 7 is Yvonne Nelson

entrepreneur and philanthropist Yvonne Nelson, is highly revered in the
Ghanaian entertainment circle. She first
hit the industry at the 2005 Miss Ghana Beauty Pageant.
Her lookalike is 22 years old
Charity Djan who is currently a level 300 student at the Pantang Nursiing
Training College and she is studying Psychiatry.
In an interview with Elabor BizTV,
she said she is very happy to be Yvonne Nelson lookalike. She recently had the
opportunity to snap a photo with Yvonne Nelson during a program dubbed Starbite
Celebrity Women’s Day with Yvonne Nelson.
At number 6 is Tony Tometi

Ghana's prolific art director Tony
Prince Tomety who we first featured on this channel in 2016, has a striking
resemblance with Hollywood's sensational actor Will Smith.
Tony, a former student of National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI), has worked in Ghana's movie industry as production designer and arts director for so many years. He was behind the beautiful act direction of Leila Djansi's 'I Sing of a Well".
According to Tony, many people even during his visit to the United States get confuse after seeing him. He added that some people have actually addressed him as Will Smith. The two are just the perfect look alike.
At number 5 is John Dumelo

Ghanaian actor, farmer and politician John Dumelo is
one of most revered young males in Ghana. On April 1st 2014, he emerged the
first Ghanaian citizen to hit a million likes on Facebook. To look like John
Dumelo is something a lot of people would kill for. Interestingly John Dumelo’s
lookalike still appears to be just a face spotted on social media and every
effort to get more information about him has hit a brick wall. But he sure
looks very much like the actor, just that he looks younger.

number 4 is Shatta Wale

Ghanaian-born producer and reggae-dancehall musician
Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr, aka Shatta Wale, formerly Bandana is the self-acclaimed
king of dancehall music in Ghana. The 2014 VGMA Artiste of the Year winner has
a couple of faces that look like him, but one of the most striking is Gunshot,
who shot to fame on the platform of MTN Hit Makers in 2015.
Gunshot was everything Shatta Wale but he has kind
of disappeared from the scene now and not much can be said about what he is up
to.
At number 3 is Daddy Lumba

Daddy Lumba is a multiple award-winning Ghanaian musician with an
extremely successful career spanning three decades. His lookalike in the person
of late Kwame Anokye emerged from the 2010 TV Africa reality show called ‘Just
Like You’, where the young singer was referred to then as DL Junior. On that
show, he imitated Daddy Lumba, and continued using that name after the show. He
would later change his name to Anokye Supremo due to issues of branding.
Unfortunately he passed away around January 2019 after undergoing a brain tumor
surgery in India.
At number 2 is Sarkodie

Michael Owusu Addo aka Sarkodie, is a Ghanaian hip
hop recording artist and entrepreneur from Tema. His contributions to the
Ghanaian Music Industry have earned him numerous accolades, including Artiste
of the Decade at the VGMA. His closest lookalike so far is an underground
musician cum actor called Danny Ranks. In a recent interview, the artist revealed
how people stop to take pictures with him as they mistake him for Sarkodie. He
also said one of his biggest dreams is to meet and hang out with Sarkodie.
At number 1 is Jackie Appiah

Jackie Appiah is a Canadian-born Ghanaian actress
who has received several awards for her works. She is an inspiration to many
African youths and to resemble her is a big deal.
Many faces that look like her have popped up over
the years, but the one with the most striking resemblance is Ewurama Okine, who
took the whole nation by storm after a photo of her with Jackie Appiah taken
during a function in Accra went viral online.
Looking at the pair, it’s sometime very difficult to
tell who is who.
