IPOB accuses President Ramaphosa of telling the police to open fire on peaceful Biafran protesters

The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) has accused President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa of telling the police to shoot at Biafran protesters who took to the streets after President Buhari arrived the country.

In a statement released by the group's Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, the group alleged that the attack launched against the protesters was influenced by President Buhari.

The statement reads in part 'President Muhammadu Buhari influenced Ramaphosa to order his police to open fire on peaceful Biafran protesters.
'The crass display of primitive police brutality and anti-democratic antecedents of the South African police is confirmation if any is needed, that black Africa is hopeless and doomed.'

It is expected that IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu's broadcast later in the day will provide an in-depth evaluation of the attack in South Africa.
