Prince William has returned to the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in London with his older children, George and Charlotte, sparking huge cheers from the crowd outside.
The Duke of Cambridge was present when the Duchess gave birth to a baby boy this morning. He was later seen leaving the Lindo wing on Monday afternoon with the promise that he will return.
It is understood he was heading back to Kensington Palace to check on Prince George and Princess Charlotte with the plan being to bring them back to the Paddington hospital to meet the newborn.
He was photographed this evening as he arrived the hospital with his two older children. Little George was wearing his school uniform and Charlotte was wearing a baby blue dress. She waved at the crowd as she and George made their way to meet their little brother.
According to reports, the baby's sex was a surprise to William and Kate, who chose not to find out in advance.
