Police parade suspected kidnappers, robbers and man, 25, who raped 10-year-old girl in Niger State

The Niger State Police Command on Wednesday, paraded 19 suspects for offences ranging from rape, kidnapping, cattle rustling,  armed robbery,  car theft and unlawful possession of firearms.

Briefing newsmen at the Command Headquarters,  the spokesperson, ASP Muhammad Abubakar disclosed that one Sanusi Aliyu, 25, was arrested in Kutiriko Fadikpe, Bosso Local Government Area of the state for raping a 10-year-old girl, Fatima Umar on April 7. Full statement below:

1. KIDNAPPING: 

Date: 10th April, 2018

Place: Fulani settlement Camp, Pure water village, Mashegu LGA

Suspects: 
(i) Ali Muhammed aged ‘m’ of Sawmil Mokwa LGA.
(ii) Isiya Hassan aged ‘m’ of Bodiga village Mashegu LGA.
Victim:  Umaru Alh. Manu 
Exhibit: N170, 000. (Ransom)
Suspects will soon be charged to court.

2. CATTLE RUSTLING

Date: 9th April, 2018 
Time: 1047hrs
Place: Fulani camp in Lefu village, Mashegu LGA

Suspects: 
(i) Tukur Ibrahim ‘m’ aged 35yrs  ‘M’ of Borgu LGA
(ii) Tambaya Bello ‘m’ aged 22yrs  ‘M’  Mashegu LGA

Exhibits: 
(i)  Three AK47 rifle
(ii)  8 rounds of live ammunition
(iii)  2 empty Magazines 
(iv)  Army Uniform 
(v)   14 Cows 
(vi)  20 sheep
(vii) 11 Goat

3: ARMED ROBBERY/UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF FIREARMS

5. CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY/ARMED ROBBERY,

Place:  Victim’s Residence, Brighter area, Minna.
Suspect:   (iii) Daniel Ocheku aged 28yrs, ‘m’ of Jukwai Abuja
(iv) Abdulmalik Sani  aged 22yrs ‘m’ of AYA Abuja
(v) Zubairu Usman  aged 32yrs ‘m’ of Garki Durumi Abuja.

6. UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF FIREARM/ATTEMP TO COMMIT OFFENCE

(ii)  Jesy Adamu ‘m’ aged 30yrs Sabon Wuse, Tafa LGA.
