Fast rising Ghanaian gospel reggae dancehall artist
Zickman who took Ghana by storm when he released his Holy Spirit inspired song
Come Taste has disclosed in an interview with Ghanahive.com, that it is
necessary for gospel artists to have their own branded materials such as
T-shirts and souvenirs for the sake of promotion and easy identification of
their brand.
The Accra based
artiste who is currently spreading his gospel dancehall songs across Ghana, is
frequently seen wearing different colours of T-shirts branded with his logo which is, a big
Z with the inscription ‘Zealous in Christ Kingdom’ below it.
Speaking further on why he branded his own shirt and why
it’s necessary for gospel artists to have their own materials, he said “People would want to identify themselves with
your ministry, apart from this, there is
a saying that what you wear is who you are or that is what makes you, so
instead of a gospel artiste who want to be serious in the Lord wearing any
shirt that has xyz inscription on it, it would be better to use that clothing
to promote Gods kingdom so that is why we came out with our own Zealous in
Christ Kingdom, wear.
“So anyone that puts on that shirt is reminding him or
herself that I am Zealously in Christ Kingdom. It’s also something that mentally
lifts your spirit up as you walk through the challenges that come with serving
God.”
The T- Shirts which comes in different colours and sizes
are currently selling for 25 Cedis and are delivered to the door steps of
people in Accra who place orders for them on 0571902133, or @zickmanmusic on
instagram. and also sent to people outside Accra through currier services.
