A German Engineer identified as Michael Cremza working with Dantata and Sawoe Company in Kano state has been abducted with his police orderly shot dead today April 16th.
According to reports, the gunmen who were about 5 in number, trailed a vehicle conveying Cremza to a construction site and opened fire on the car along Sabon Titi Madobi Road. The police officer died during the fire exchange.
Confirming the incident, the Kano state police command public relations officer, Musa Majia, said efforts are being made to rescue the expatriate and apprehend the gunmen. He called on residents of the state to come forward with useful information atht will help in the rescue of the abducted engineer.
“The police commissioner Rabiu Yusuf has since deployed a powerful team of operatives and detectives to cordon the axis with a view to arresting the culprits and rescue the victim. Manhunt of the abductors is ongoing.
