Hero! Man saves baby boy after his own mother THROWS him off bridge

A man has been hailed a hero after he plunged into a river in order to save a baby, who had been thrown in the water by her own mother.

The taxi driver watched in horror as the deranged woman dropped the infant. He did not stop to think before immediately going after him.

The whole dramatic event happened in Ruzhou City, China, and was caught on camera. The footage shows how the toddler is pulled out of the water with a rope by the taxi driver, and other people who also got in to help.

If the man had not noticed the child in the water at that exact moment, he would have died shortly after. As soon as they both got to the shore, some shaking and slapping managed to get the water out of his lungs, and he did not suffer from any serious consequences.

The boy’s mother allegedly suffers from a mental illness. There is no information if police will bring charges against her.
