The Super Eagles of
Nigeria have risen from 51st to 50th position in the world in the
new FIFA/Coca-cola Male football teams ranking released on Thursday January 12,
2017, while their Ghanaian counterpart, the Black Star went down with one step
to end up at the 54th position.
Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Chile and Belgium,
all maintained their number first, second, third, fourth and fifth positions
respectively while Senegal is Africa's highest ranked team at the 33rd spot.
