Wiyaala to Fulfill Dream of Performing alongside Chaka Chaka

Award winning Ghanaian Afro Pop artiste, Wiyaala is about fulfilling a long cherished dream to perform alongside African music icons such as Yvonne Chaka Chaka.

She said: “It is an honour to be on the same stage with a legend like Yvonne Chaka Chaka and every serious artiste will take this show serious because the headline act is phenomenal.
“ Rocking the stage is understatement. In fact, I will be remembered several months after the show because I am going to kill it.” The artiste who has been billed to perform at the African Legends Night on Saturday, September 24, disclosed this to Showbiz.

According to the Rock My Body artiste, she has always been inspired by Yvonne Chaka Chaka's works and would make use of the platform to celebrate a “legend who has imparted positively on the Wiyaala brand”.

Apart from Wiyaala, Akosua Adjepong is also expected to wow patrons at the State Banquet Hall in Accra. That isn’t all, highlife legends, Amandzeba and Pat Thomas have the duty of “spicing” the evening’s affair with old Highlife tunes that Ghanaians have loved and appreciated for years.

Organised by Global Media Alliance in partnership with Kasapreko, this year’s African Legends Night aims at celebrating African music and it’s heritage.
