Ghanaian artiste Stonebwoy, is certainly going high, this time along with his colleagues Sarkodie and R2Bees as they have been nominated in various categories at the 2016 MTV Africa Music Awards.
Stonebwoy got ‘Best Live Act’ nomination, R2Bees will be competing for the ‘Best Group’ Award, and Sarkodie’s collaboration with Nigerian Dancehall act, Patoranking ‘No Kissing Baby’ is up for a ‘Best Collaboration’ Award.
The second set of nominations will be announced in Lagos, Nigeria on October 2.
This year’s event will be hosted by South African Comedian Trevor Noah and will feature performances from the likes of Alikiba, Babes Woduma, Cassper Nyovest, Nasty C, Ycee, and Yemi Alade,
It will be held at the Ticketpro Dome, Johannesburg, South Africa on October 22.
