My acting career won't be affected by my political appointment - Ini Edo

Nollywood actress Ini Edo has revealed that her political position has not been responsible for her mild absence in the industry.

In a recent interview, the actress who is the Special adviser to Akwa Ibom state governor on tourism and also the coordinator of the state’s first festival called Ibomfest scheduled to take place in December 2016, said: “I would like to state that my stint in government won’t affect my career as an actress. Since my appointment to serve my state, I have been receiving calls from producers and actors alike to extend their hands of fellowship in building the Nigerian Project. Again, I have been invited to play different roles in the movie industry, so nothing has changed.”
